Marissa has extensive training from some of the most respectable Aesthetic Professionals such as Rachel Roff, founder of Urban Skin Rx, along with Dermatologist and Sciton Illuminary, Dr. Chris Robb, and at the Clearskin Institute of Laser Aesthetics by Larry Helwig, RN and CEO of the Institute, and Dr. Ann Watwood. She has a Bachelors of Science and is a Licensed Esthetician.
Since graduating with a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from UNCC, Marissa developed a passion in skin transformation and prevented care. She graduated in 2016 as a Licensed Esthetician from the Aveda Institute. Her passions remain grounded in the aesthetic industry, committed to help patients reach their individual skincare goals. By partnering with Dr. Joel Beck and injector Heather Rypien, R.N., Marissa knows her patients will achieve the very best results that complement and enhance their beautiful natural features.
Over the past six years she has spent time working as a provider in Medical Spas and Plastic Surgery offices, as well as some time as a Sales Representative for Candela, a well known laser device company.
She is a very passionate and successful Esthetician with a focus in skin rejuvenation, acne, acne scarring and hyperpigmentation.
Marissa is thrilled to be working alongside top injector and trainer, Heather Rypien, and our amazing Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Beck.
She looks forward to teaming up with them to bring you a result driven comprehensive treatment plan.
In her free time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling the world and experiencing different cultures, trying new restaurants, going hiking and being outdoors.
