Achieve a luminous, fresh complexion

Sun exposure takes a toll on the skin, resulting in dryness, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation and other skin concerns. With our advanced CO2 treatments, we can customize the intensity and depth of the laser treatments, optimizing your treatments to achieve radiant, youthful skin with minimal side effects or downtime.

How Does Tetra CO2 Work?

The Tetra CO2 laser works by creating micro-injuries in the deeper layers of the skin. The skin responds to these tiny injuries by regenerating the damaged tissue, which results in an increase in the natural production of collagen and the overall rejuvenation of the skin’s appearance. Lines, laxity, and other aesthetic concerns are visibly reduced and the overall tone and texture of the skin are dramatically improved.

The Tetra CO2 can effectively reduce the following concerns:

  • Wrinkles, lines and creases
  • Hyperpigmentation
  • Sun damage
  • Redness or inflammation
  • Dryness and dullness
  • Uneven or rough skin texture
  • Acne scars
  • Lax skin
  • Large pores

Treatment Details: What to Expect

Treatment details are different for each patient, depending on their aesthetic goals and cosmetic needs. We will begin by examining your skin and discussing your desires for improvement. We will design a treatment plan for you and discuss the details, including pre/post-procedure aspects and what you can expect during the treatment.

Before your treatment, be sure to stay out of the sun for at least two weeks. Discontinue the use of retinols and glycolic or salicylic acids. On the day of your treatment, we will cleanse your skin and apply a topical anesthetic. We will pass the laser over the skin.

For more significant concerns, aggressive treatments will be required. These are performed in fewer sessions and require more downtime. Less aggressive treatments will be performed in a series of treatments, and each will involve less downtime.

Recovery after Tetra CO2 treatments

After Tetra treatments, the recovery period is 7-10 days. During this time, your skin will be healing. There will be redness, some skin shedding, and some swelling. It is important to rest and recover during this period as your skin fully heals.

Once your healing is complete, your new skin will be sensitive to the sun and other irritants. Protect your fresh skin from harsh products and stay out of the sun. To help with the healing process, we will provide detailed aftercare instructions based on your specific laser treatment.

What is the Difference Between CO2 Tetra Fractional Laser and CoolPeel?

Both Tetra CO2 and CoolPeel treatments are performed with the same highly versatile laser. However, the treatments are different.

Tetra CO2 Laser Resurfacing

Tetra CO2 laser is a highly effective procedure that smooths, rejuvenates, and brightens the skin, reaching deeper levels of the skin for a profound renewal. This versatile laser offers a traditional strength and a milder CoolPeel setting.

CoolPeel

CoolPeel addresses the external, uppermost layer of skin, targeting intermittent parts of the face while leaving areas of untreated skin in between. CoolPeel uses a very short pulse of light, reducing heat buildup in the skin–resulting in less damage. CoolPeel results in minimal downtime compared with traditional CO2 laser resurfacing.

Which is best for you? It is important to discuss which treatment is best suited to your needs during a consultation at Beck Aesthetic Surgery. We will examine your skin and understand your aesthetic goals, then recommend the right treatment to help you achieve your ideal, beautiful, radiant skin.
